 Igbo people are fond of proverbs. Hardly will any mature Igbo man make a serious speech without adding a proverb. If you are an Igbo and you don't understand proverbs, it is a sign of immaturity and not being well-rooted in Igbo culture. You will also misinterpret some expressions when they come as proverbs. The online learning: A wake up call to Nigerian students.

 With recent development in the global village courtesy of the COVID-19 pandemic; the lockdowns, the delivery of educational contents via the internet, this is a wake up call to Nigeria students. Over the years, the world has been advancing progressively in the use of  technology in facilitating learning, the advanced nations like the European union, the US, Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Israel and even  India just to mention a few have been complying with the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in the delivery of education to their citizens.
