Why you need additional skills asides University degree.
In my previous post, I advised Nigerian students to take their destiny into their hands to ensure they are employable anywhere in the world as they leave school. Today, I want to emphasise why you need that skill and why you should seriously prepare to be globally employable so you can earn your living from outside Nigeria even if you still reside in Nigeria. Nigeria has witnessed a very huge setback in all ramifications since the last six years or thereabout. The rate of economic downturn witnessed during is period is unprecedented. There has been a mass exodus of foreign companies and a huge reduction in the growth of local businesses. This can be attributed largely to the insecurity in the country which has multiplied into different facets but this article is not to address the matter.
